I have no idea if the Dr talked to me afterwards.  Let alone what he may have said.  And no one told David.

I would email the Dr and have them tell you when you can start wiggling your fingers...do not do what my Mama did and hold them still for too long. She never regained her ability to move them after she was immobilized for a shoulder fracture. Does your medical plan give out After Visit Instructions?

Well, I know you do not hang out on Facebook any more, so just thought I would tell you quickly here.  Our family reunion is going to be held in Weatherford, TX this year, instead of in Altus, OK.  Well, we have a LOT of family history there, so I hope to learn more about the area while I am there.  Of course, the property my ancestors owned in that area is no longer owned by our family.  My nephew is the de facto family historian, so he is working on locating all the places we need to visit.  We will be meeting at the Holiday Inn Express, and I will be staying there at least two nights - Friday, June 25 and Saturday, June 26.  Open to staying earlier or later, and maybe meeting up for lunch, dinner and/or a shop hop, if any of that is possible.  Of course, y'all will likely still be in the big middle of some kind of construction, but who knows what might happen by then?  Anyway, just FYI.

Patty and I need to get our act together for our trip to visit Carolyn before long.

Yes, yes we do!!  Memorial day week I will be going to New Mexico and probably Prescot, probably May 22 to June 2. Other than that I am pretty open

thanks for the update!  Definitely want to get together for a visit while you are here.  I don't know that we'll be started construction by then - builders are all saying mid to late summer due to lumber prices. going slooooooow.  If you want you are welcome to come by here too, all our construction here has moved to cleaning up the yard.

Hopefully soon.  I'm having an MRI today and then an appointment with a pain management doctor.  The neurosurgery I was seeing says I'm not a good candidate for surgery because of my heart and the condition of my crumbling back.  A strange thing happened yesterday, I got a call telling me my neurosurgeon is retiring and yesterday was his last day.  What?  Who retires on a Tuesday with no notice whatsoever??  Something is not right.

That’s such a pretty town. Roger preached there a few times.  We are thinking of going to Fredericksburg, Tx for a few days.

Carolyn, I think if you strike that pose in the pic Shelley posted, you will most definitely feel a change in your back.
Let us know how it goes!

Surely you jest.  I know, I know, don't call you Shirly.  I was able to get through my MRI with the help of Xanax and some truly caring MRI techs that sat with me the whole time and because I couldn't use the open MRI (because of my pacemaker) they put me in feet first and I could kind of look up and back and see the ceiling of the room.  My pacemaker is only compatible with certain kinds of MRI machines.  Since I'm claustrophobic the Xanax helps me from having a panic attack.
