put in the hospital.Take it easy.Look once look twice again before turning.

Nope, they discharged me fairly quickly...I was only there a few hours. My new car has one of those fancy cameras, so maybe that will help...I'll still look with my eyes!

so sorry to hear this.  and glad neither of you were seriously injured (hospitalized, etc).  stinks about your car, but praying for your pain.

All righty, you Phoenix residents ... batten down the hatches!

May be an image of map, sky and text that says '80 Window Rock ARIZONA'S WEATHER HIGHS TOMORROW AUTHORITY 78 83 Page Grand Ganyon 94 77 103 Kingman Flagstaff 88 88 Bullhead Gity 86 Sedona 85 Winslow 103 Prescott Lake Havasu Payson 81 1053 Show Low Phoenix 102 92 Globe 96 Gasa Grande 95 Safford Tucson 86 Sierra Vista 103 uma'

1,053 is obviously a typographical error but 105 or 103 is still not funny.

How did those folks in Show Low get so lucky?  Up in the mountains?

Show Low is up on the rim and much higher elevation so it never gets as hot as Phoenix. I love to hike the Grand Canyon and up on the rim it is usually quite pleasant in the summer, never that hot but true story down at the bottom of the canyon at Phantom Ranch it is a similar elevation of Phoenix and similar temps.............it can get really, really hot down there.

Here in New Mexico (just got here yesterday) the high was 61 and I was pretty cold as it was raining and we had turned off the heat for the season. Not gonna get very hot the rest of the week either and usually this time of year it is pretty hot here!

I hope the other driver is ok and wasn't badly injured.  Replacing cars is inconvenient and a "pain for both of you.  Hope you are feeling a little better by now.
