This just totally blows my mind! Did she go into a quick labor? How far away was the midwife? Was there anyone to help you? Is this her first baby? Sorry about all the questions--I'm just in awe.
Congratulations on both your delivery skills and your grandson. Now make sure you write up the ordeal, include your feelings.
wow! That's amazing, congrats to the Mommie - and kudos to you grandma! One of my daughter's friends delivers very quickly. Her 1st two were delivered at home by her husband because he had no choice - fortunately he is a nurse - tho not in neonatal. She's now pregnant with her 3rd. If I were him I'd be studying up.
Oh my gosh! Laura! You delivered him? Those prayers work ….but my babies came fast, but I still made into the hospital. Although with that last one hubby says he ran red lights and by the time he parked and found my room I was delivering!
those momma instincts kick in…..that rubbing helps get the circulation going, and warms things up!
superexcited for ya all! Congratulations!
Congratulations!!! Wow you really are amazing delivering a baby and knowing what to do. What an amazing story that is.
ohwowohwow!! what an entrance!
Congratulations on the new grandbaby and congratulations on delivering him...got to be one of those high points in life - now that you can breathe again!
He's a real cutie.
How exciting grandma!! Bet you were glad to hear that first cry!! Congratulations, he is a cutie. Enjoy him!
How exciting! I would have been freaked out for sure. All your grandchildren will be special to you, but this one will have a special connection to you.
I'm so sorry, Viola!
