mmmmm..... Tom Selleck would make me smile too.  Or, they could applique some cute little pandas on it.  They always make me smile too.

I dated a guy in college for 3 years specifically because he had a Tom Selleck mustache.

It's not that I'm particularly attracted to facial hair, but Tom is just damned cute!

nice, love how they fit the table.  I'm curious, did you quilt then on your LA or home machine?

on my home machine with a walking foot.   These weren't worth loading up on the LA ... especially since I had already cut out the wedge shape once the fusible batting had been adhered to the backing.

I started on the "True colors" mini quilt this weekend.  Each square is 2" finished, the circles are about 1" - the finished wall hanging will be about 24" square, depending on what I do for the borders.  I need to pull some more fabrics to fill out the colors - these were just scraps out of the recent basket.  I did use the applipops.  Not sure how I feel about them.  I sewed down one circle and it went better than I expected.  The circles actually end up with two "folds" because of the thickness of the metal circles.  My OCD wants there to be 1 fold, but I think if I am consistent and catch the bottom fold with the needle, it will be fine (and hide the stitches too) once it is washed/pressed.  You can see the two "folds" in the yellow picture.  More like sewing down a fabric button.

I agree Shelley, I like that Hexie arrangement better than the flower look!  And your placemats look great on your round table.
