What Are You Working On Now?   General Discussion

Started 11/19/17 by MarciainMD; 451118 views.

In the meantime (while you are working on your appliqued birds), I was at the quilt shop today (the ONE quilt shop in my city - but it's a nice one!) -- and I saw these Riley Blake "Pirate Tales" fabrics.  SO cute.  There are one or two focus fabrics, most most of the rest are small-scale novelties (which is one of the things I was looking for).  I didn't get any of them, but I might have to go back and get a 1/4 yard of those little sharks.  So cute.  LOL

Hey Sandy!  Look what I have on my frame!  I really didn’t steal it and it will get back to you before he gets married!

Riley Blake has some cute fabric lines.  Several years ago when I was making a baby quilt, I wanted little helicopters.  They had them.  I enlarged them and made some to applique on and used the fabric for sashing and borders.
