I have a pattern that looks like photo films

I may have to go that route but am going to search first.  If you know where your pattern is, please put it in the pile for retreat.

OK, I do not shop for fabric online very often.  I have forgotten the sites you frequently use.  Could any of you list some for me?

fabricshack.com  has a good search engine.  (For example if you are looking for a fabric for borders like Dee uses that has confetti scatter print and you type in "confetti" in the search box you get good results. One time I typed in "dots" and got 37 pages of results. Darn near fainted.)

equilter.com has a search engine that's overwhelming with results but somehow not quite as helpful as it could be.

fatquartershop.com has exactly what it sounds like ... lots of fat quarters, jelly rolls and other pre-cuts. You can get dizzy looking at their selections of pre-cuts with themes. Start now on your Christmas projects.  LOL

When I need something specific, I almost always buy at equilter.com.  Their selection is HUGE, service is great, and the quality of their stuff is wonderful.

Thanks, Judy/  I will try them.  I think I actually went to Fabric shack on our trip to Michigan a few years ago.

Thanks, Jonna.  Judy suggested them too.  I'll see what I can find.

Cathy, what I saw at Cabbage Rose was black fabric with white line drawings of movie making related items, such as the thing they snap when they say action along with an old time movie camera.  they might have had a version of white with black line drawings.  You could call them and see if they still have it.  They close on the 15th.

I decided to go ahead and put the blocks together on these 3 quilts.  I will probably add borders but will decide when I'm ready to quilt them.  Two of the patterns are from Kim Brackett's books, the 3rd is called shortcack by Cluck Cluck Sew.

All about thread. I just watched the Guilt Show from yesterday and my head is spinning!! Becky Goldsmith did a wonderful show on thread. She gave so much  information that I will watch it again and again.

If you haven't seen it yet, please take my advice and find it. I even used the Closed Caption option to help me get all the information since my computer doesn't seem to play things loud enough for my old ears.
