I really like that and will again have to add it to my inspiration file. Mine is the triple treat leader/ender project from Quiltville. The 4 patch uses 1.5 inch squares yielding a 2.5 inch 4 patch. It's taking me a while.

that's interesting. adding that one to my inspiration file
for novelty I would do 4.5" strips instead, making a 12" block, it would go fast. hmmm, thinking....

Good idea making it bigger. It would make a kid quilt in no time .I like how you can arrange the blocks in different ways--zig zag lines or Xs - whatever you want.

You have had a lot on your plate this summer! I remember reading about your eye problems--are they all better now? It's nice to have AZ to look forward to. I did have big plans to head to South Dakota this fall, but changed my mind. I was getting real nervous about it and finally realized that the accident I had on my last trip did a number on my nerves. I'm just going to go down to Paducah KY for a day or two. Baby steps at getting back to travelling.

What town do you live in? I'm not totally sure what my plans are but that would be nice if we could meet up.

I live in South FUlton TN.Fulton KY I also could come and visit the Quilt Museum with you.Would love to see you. You decide what you want to do.It your trip.

That would be great to meet up for a bit. Iwas planning on going down this wee but forgot about a vet appointment and some farm business I need to get taken care of, so my plan is for next week. I hadn't planned on going to the quilt museum--not really interested in fancy art quilts. I do admire the women who make them, but it just overwhelms me! I'll let you know when I'm sure of my plans and will give you a heads up.
Do you use many floral prints in your projects? I don't really use them that much and would be glad to bring some to share with you.

BASEBALL...ok baseball quilts for the grandsons. They both had a terrific year of travel ball and did really well. One played in a tournament at the Field of Dreams, the older one played in a big tournament in Louisville KY and toured the Louisville Slugger Baseball bat factory.
Found the fabric (Dan Morris America's Pastime) for these quilts at Heartworksquilts.com in Fly Creek NY. Doing them in a 12.5" Split Ohio Star, as they live in Ohio. Not sure if I'll use sashing or not yet.

What perfect fabric and pattern for your baseball boys! I'm sure they will just love them.
