What Are You Working On Now?   General Discussion

yikes.  feel bad for her confusion, I could see how it would be hard to follow on some videos.  GLad you were able to explain it to her.

well I'm giving up on the strip sets.  Very fiddly and time consuming.  And honestly I'm not liking the blue fabric with birds - everything is  too busy.  I decided to try the easier stars and mix them in, much faster and hardly noticeable that they are different (the two that are smaller with no red on the inside).

by golly, you're right!  Until you said something, I hadn't noticed there were different blocks displayed.

Those look nice and until you pointed out that some are different I did not notice.

Wow!   That's such a beautiful quilt Ami.   What a lot of time and love went into that one.  Beautiful Colorado setting too.

Is it possible for a quilt to be too busy????  Really wish I hadn't used the blue with white eagles.  I had hoped it would read as a solid but it just doesn't.  Oh well.

what a fun quilt to make - thanks Lynne for sharing the idea.  I'll definitely do this one again.  I was able to use a bunch of my white novelties too.

Oh, I don't think it is too busy.  I love it.

How bright and cheery!  It is fun to make--looks more complicated than it is.
