What Are You Working On Now?   General Discussion

Started 11/19/17 by MarciainMD; 892876 views.

thanks Suze (and others).  I'm having 2nd thoughts about the border.  I did a partial mock up in EQ and I don't think I like it.  Any suggestions for alternatives?  At a minimum, the triangles need to be smaller.  It somehow looks too rustic than the center.

Does it look any better if you point them out?

Try placement of colors in the border to match where the colors in the center come to the edge. Try something more simple like just a narrow line of color, or a small square, or square on point.

So I know it's a quilting forum so nobody wants to see non-quilting things on here. Just thought I'd share that I've been busy, but not quilting. I had a friend ask me to make her a bullet journal for the new year, and with that and work, that's keeping me busy! But I'm still alive!

Your bullet journals are pretty cool. Love seeing them on Instagram.

It's a beautiful quilt, no matter what the border.  Colors are great.
