Judy,

RE: the almond roca...we love it! But as I figured the answer would be, we love YOU more! If you don't have time or feel up to it, it's ok. The most important part is taking care of yourself so you can come as a whole Judy. (((JUDY)))

Several years ago I made a wonderful batch of candied ginger. It turned out perfectly and I loved every bite of it. Then a few years later I tried again but it wouldn't set up. I still enjoyed every bite (or should i say sip of it.) Having never reached the hard ball stage it more closely resembled limp fruit leather. But as I said it still tasted good. Do you have a favorite recipe for Candied Ginger. I would like to try it again.

Ginger: I cannot stand it!! YUUUCCKKKK!! Accidentally ate a piece recently and about died. GRODY JODY! LOL :P

is there a hostess or other local I can send it to ahead of time so I don't have to carry the weight in my luggage?

You can always send to me.  Of course, you risk Bob snitching a little.   You could just make one batch.  There is always plenty of snacks and they now have a very nice vending machine in the lobby with snacks.  Some of them are healthy snacks.

I've never tried to make candied ginger...I try not to eat it much (we call it 'programmer crack' at work!!) so I buy a small bag just every so often!!

No worries :) If she gets em, it's not like I don't have fabric. Just one of those things i have wanted to do and just NOW started saving for :P

I love the smell of coffee. I love the results of coffee...I don't love coffee either. Some is very bitter and yuck. Lattes are my fav cause they're actually tasty (tho not exactly coffee). This, too, is an acquired taste...and some tastes aren't worth the effort to acquire!
