I saw picture of T-Bob and have to say....

backside shots should not be taken.  He looks like a giant disfigured  ‘member’ or ‘organ’.
blushYes, I am the one who will ‘go there’.....

I have been thinking of adding LeeAnn to my name on FB so people would know it is me  and my evil twin... but hesitate to put full name on there.  Paranoid????

I am so glad your leg does not hurt....that was scary watching you tumble in front of me!!

Your heart quilt is going to look splendid! Love those two big ones surrounded by the little ones..

Yup when I saw that on Facebook I thought the same thing

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger.  I thought the same thing.  Hah!  And from a profile view, it looked like he had a "saggy diaper that leaks" - like the commercial says.  haha

Now that I have had a nights rest (good might not be a word I would use though) and am at my house in New Mexico. I fired up the Apple computer so I could actually type as I use my phone the rest of the time and get to peck out one letter at a time.

I think this will be one of my favorite retreats............it was just really fun for me. First thanks to Mel for booking the room and putting up with me. Linda Poo for getting me from the airport and taking me to the hotel and feeding me awesome healthy food that was so yummy........you are the best! Cathy, Kim, and Denise for driving me. The trip to SAS although very short was a total success as I got some beautiful fabrics and will likely be wearing clothes made from some of them to retreat next year.

The food table had great offerings, Judy's almond roca which I have a real weakness for. The grapes were really good. Loved the tea too.

Secret sister was so fun this year, I had so much fun watching Ellen find yet more dove chocolates on her sewing machine. Thanks Becky for putting that all together. Love my secret sister Nyla who got me some great vintage sewing notions and other fun things like a little snail ruler...........so stinking cute!

So enjoyed sitting by Karen and chatting. She and Becky gifted me the scraps they were cutting off their projects (grunge fabric, my current favorite fabric line).

I enjoyed getting to know the new people. Sue I enjoyed our conversations and hope you come again.

Cathy thanks for the use of your featherweight again this year.

Shelley your secret, secret, sister speech (for lack of other word) was sooo funny I was just cracking up. You were so eloquent. Yup a pirate is entitled to booty. I guess we will be wondering forever who done it. I assure you if it were me it would not have been such good stuff. Last I heard the roumor mill listed about half the retreaters..........I have a feeling we will never know.

Viola a big hug to you. Hope you are doing ok after your fall and your heart quilt will wrap you in love from all your quilting sister.

Texas Linda you do make quilts as big as Texas! Sharon I always enjoy seeing your crumb quilts.

I was on a mission this year with the T-shirt quilt and the big carpenters wheel and did not get to visit as much as I usually do but it was so fun.

Oh and Misha I am sorry that time got away from us and we did not actually get to do some cutting and sewing on your dress, I hope to see your completed sundress project though. The flying geese are pretty easy once you get them drawn and I love paper piecing those as you can really make very custom designed patterns.

I know I did not mention everyone by name but you are always a delight to chat with and I enjoy your jokes and all the fun we have.

I think I have my momentum going to finish the two quilts I started at retreat and hope to have them both finished in the next few months.

Lots of life going on till next year but as the deadline for sign up comes I always so look forward to the next retreat.

Shelley, I enjoyed our table with LeeAnn and Bobbi too. I had an emergency the day of table assignments were done (hubby’s heart -all ok tho),

I couldn’t have chosen any better. We had a lot of laughs, I learned a new embroidery stitch (thanks Shelley) and Bobbi for the strip.
I learned how to be Sneaky, how to Fib, and how to down right maneuver because my secret sister was in the chair next to me at my table. Oh what fun being devious is!

And...I loved sitting next to you as I had never had the chance to really visit with you and get to know you.  Enjoyed watching your quilt top go together on our wall.  Looking forward to seeing you next year.  Have a great year of traveling and hiking. k
