Sadie girl over the rainbow bridge   News and Announcements

Started Mar-23 by Ami_Quilts (sewingupasto); 1262 views.

I am so sad. Sadie went over the rainbow Bridge yesterday. She was 2 months short of 15, very old for such a large dog. Poor thing still had spirit but her body just gave out. We got her as a puppy when Sarah was in the 4th grade. She was Elyse's dog who was going into 6th grade. This is the pet the girls grew up with. Sadie girl will be so missed.

So sorry, Ami.  We pet lovers truly do love our pets.

ah, sweet Sadie.  I've heard you talk about her for so long.  Very sad when a dog your kids grew up with is gone - 15 years is a good long life, especially for a large dog.  Sam only made it to 12 - Coleman is still hurting over that loss and it's been 2 years now.

Sadie had such a good life with you and she was so lucky to be part of your family all those  years. Keep that thought close to your heart as you mourn her passing.

I forget the occasion but for some reason I sent Sadie a necklace made of polymer clay links. So here's that gorgeous black dog posing for a glamour shot just like the beauty she was ..

So sorry.  We have a lab mix who will be 15 in May.  She's been with us since she was 12 weeks old.   When she is in too much pain, we will let her go.  It's always hard.  Sorry for you loss.  Think of her playing as when she was a pup.
