Momma's got a new bag   Show and Tell

Started Apr-17 by Dee in TX (DBRADFOR3); 826 views.

Dee the reason I got good at garment sewing was because homemade clothes were made fun of by other kids so I learned to make my clothes look like store bought. I guess I learned out of necessity.

Simply quilts is what really got me hooked on quilting too. That and a basic rotary cutting book by Fons and porter.

Love your bag, Dee!  You sure have been busy lately!  I like that the straps are nice and wide--much easier on the shoulder.

And you have a super cute unique bag! :D

She could open a business ..... "Dee's Custom Totes" .... once she really retires.

But then it wouldn't be fun.

Love the new bag.  Shoulder straps are a must in my world too.

I also carry one of those smaller MSQC Charm Pack bags a friend made me some years ago.  Perfect when traveling, like I am right now.

My husband thought I should buy a quilt shop that was for sale once.  I said "no".  I quilt for my pleasure and relaxation.  You're right.  I would not be fun.
