That's a good one.  I say that often.  Maybe I could do it if I didn't leave the house.  I don't like to order on line.  I like to see and feel the fabric I buy.

that's getting harder and harder.  The only LQS in FW are now on the other side of town, near the airport.

disappointedThere were 2 or 3 small ones in south Arlington.  I gues they didn't make itthrough Covid.

Does that include "Must Love Fabric" in Grapevine?  Close to Sandy, and I used to shop there a lot.

There's also "Quilter's Dream" in Colleyville, but I never cared for it too much.  Would rather go a little farther east to Lewisville, to "Quilt Country."

I also like "Richland Sewing Center" and "Sew It Up Bernina" - both in Hurst.

But I realize all of those are still pretty far from you.

The local quilt shop here in SA - "Quilting Quarters" (only a couple of years old) must be doing very well, because they are building a new place not far from their current one (which is in an old shopping center).  And I have not yet been to the one that is closest to me - "The Fiber Co-op," which was in that video I posted earlier.  Will try to go there soon.

I take my machine to richland, love browsing their notions. I really liked the place next door, but they are gone now (do not remember the name, was it quilters stash?) I need to go on a sHop hop, I tend to avoid going much east of downtown FW. I have not gone to many of them in 10 years or more. There is an interesting one in Quitman, near Kaufman so east of Dallas the looks really nice.

They might still be there, I have not checked. Arlington is farther than I tend to readily go. It starts getting too close to Dallas and I get nervous.

I know what you mean.  Dallas is not my comfort zone traffic-wise either.  These were all west of 360.  If all our medical stuff is good, we plan another road trip the end of Oct and beginning of Nov. We will be stopping to see DD and family.  Not sure how much time we will have but will let you know.

Good Thread to Start.. We all need a funny.  I love British murder mysteries, crime shows etc. (not so much the US stuff as it seems to gory.  BUT a friend saw this and said she "thought of me" right away.  It did make me chuckle.
