Well, I have finally vacuumed my sewing area and unloaded my machine!  I can sew next week! YIPPEE!   

i have carefully soaked my DJ triangles that got stained.  They are ready for a careful steam pressing and then I finish adding my last row of triangles.  I am calculating in my head how wide a border to add around the outside for the scallop + quilting space.  I will add that also.

i so wanted this done for retreat, but it just didn’t happen.  Oh well….deadlines don’t matter right?  I am sewing today with friends, but I am going to do some simple charity.  I don’t want to drag Jane out yet again….

I'm so glad it washed out! I know she didn't intend it.

But it was very impressive and awesome seeing what you had done.  It will be spectacular when you finish it, and you are so close.

Got the Bernina set back up, unpacked the suitcases. Got a few of the project bags put away.

Going to sew a bit...

I have promised myself that Monday and Tuesday I WILL complete the borders!  If I don’t go back to it, the project my end up languishing a long time!

I think once you get used to the Bernina it will be amazing!

Just keep at it. It is pretty close to finished top.

I’m  Working on it…..yesterday I get the row together and sewed in.  Then spent a bunch of time taking out corners to insert my extra triangles.  The last one gets pressed this morning and then I will cut the scallop border! 

That is so exciting!  It is gorgeous and impressive. Can’t wait to see it all done.
