She's beautiful, Judy. She's just beautiful. Puppies have lots of energy. Rest up! You will love having the company. Maggie talks to us by making noises or non-verbally. We just love her.

bornblesse2 said:, I need to start thinking about the challenge door hanger. is there a basic size we are to use? Can it be square? I have something from the past in mind, but not sure if I can find it…can I do applique? Does it have to be quilted or can I just turn edge it? Or maybe even a finished raw edge?
Size from 4x10 to 5x19. yes it can be square, round, curvy. You are the designer. yes applique, 3-D, quilted or not, birthed or raw edge. All are OK. did I mention the you are the designer?
I've been thinking about mine. Just have to decide which way to go.
Carolyn, please note this post in message 4. Thanks.

Carried I believe, but I think it moved in the overhead compartment. Broke a chunk of the motherboard off. It was a $600 machine (bought in 2001 I believe) and this was the first year I came, 2004. It cost $350 to repair...I was making $9 or $10/hr, so that was a LOT. I have not brought my own since.

I thought it was pretty cool
Hey, we all have our own styles. :D No shade here! I can't do some of the stuff you do. That's why I love quilting...so many things to see and admire and try!

Thanks Cathy! We specifically didn't want to do the puppy thing again. When we got a puppy when DJ was entering Kindergarten we were 30 years younger! But we saw Amanda and she just stole both of our hearts. She is learning already and seems to be a lot less nervous with us. Nights are still hard for her not be with us or be in the same room. But she was a bit more quiet for lengths of time last night so hoping each night will be another step in the right direction.
We are enjoying her tremendously though. I think we both miss having a furry friend more than we were willing to admit! Sure... they are a bit more work... especially at this age but their unconditional love is addicting!
