I'm unfamiliar with that side of Phoenix so I don't know how close it is to the airport.  We always try to get as close to the airport as we can.  I sure miss the Clarion.  Even though the hotel was starting to show its age the sewing room we had was perfect.  The hotel is being converted to apartments or assisted living.  I'm not sure.  Laura is our point person with our current hotel so she gets the credit for the online registration.  She made her reservation first to make sure the system was working correctly.

It’s  6 miles from the airport, and according to my map app it would only be about a 10 minute drive.

Yeah, I didn't know the mileage, but on the map it looked pretty close to the airport.  AND Joe's Crab Shack.  LOL

Maisy is out of surgery...it turned out to be WAY more involved than I expected. Her aortic valve was too small  (it didn't grow right because of the hole) so they took the pulmonary valve and sewed that to the aorta and put in a pulmonary conduit...sheesh..that sounds so complicated!

Now on to recovery!

I'm still searching for airfare and I'm about to bite the bullet.  I either need to leave Saturday early evening or stay over until Monday and leave midday on Monday.

BIG ASK:  If I stay the extra night is there anyone else staying over Sunday night who would need or like a roomie?

Just askin'...thanks.

Prayers for quick healing for little Maisey.

none of my grands are nearby...sigh

At least nowadays you can Zoom ad see them and visa versa.  Couldn't do that with Texas grandkids.  They are adults now.
