Hello Gunter it's me again.
Tells me my attachments are used up. I only have used 33%.
Please give me a reset when you can.

This is getting to add up to a load of confusion when you can't remove attachments and we add more space. Are these all in one forum?

I assume you've tried different browsers as well.

I''m confused. You're not adding any more space to my account from what I read. There's plenty of space left. But when I try to load an attachment I get a message that I used up all my allocation. But that's not accurate as you can see by the pie chart. It's treating me as a basic member. I can search my attachments and delete some of them and then it will let me post my attachments. But that's not what I am paying for. For some reason it cuts me off. I only post attachments from my desktop and the browser is Firefox. The pie Chart shows I'm only using 33% of my total allocation.

DelphiExtra actually has a 10Meg attachment allowance, not 100Megs. We've been adding tons.

So then the pie chart is wrong?
What do you suggest I do? I use a lot of attachments.

You could use your file space. Then post a link to the uploaded file. Once you run out of space you can delete older files from that section of your profile. No need to hunt down messages.

Can you advise me how to do that. I have no idea how that is done. I shouldn't have to do anything until my allocated allotment is used up as a Delphi Extra member.

Sure, click on My Forums  and look for the Files Link. Click on Browse, find your file and double click it, then click Upload.
Here's a graphic I created with the steps and uploaded to My Files.

You could embed your link in a word or phrase (I'm on mobile and cannot)

NOTE: like most of the original mechanisms here this is quite basic. If you hope to create folders and move files about... know that that is incredibly limited. Folders cannot be deleted or renamed and files cannot be moved from  the folder they were uploaded to.

For your purpose I'd just upload to the default folder.

Also - I think this way easier and gives you more control.
