Wasn’t Med a mid season show?  Now they have a Chicago night.

Chicago Med has always been a fall show, although season 1 did get a bit of a late start in November. Last season started in September.

So it had a late start. Which one started in January?  Was that th cancelled spinoff?

Chicago Justice ran from March-May.

The only one in the series I could find that started in January was the first season of Chicago P.D., which ran from January-May 2014.

Maybe it was Fire that was delayed one season for something else.

I just checked. Seasons 4 and 5 didn’t premiere until October.

Wouldn't it make more sense, if Chicago
Fire was on before Chicago Med? I wish
that ABC would do it that way with
Station 19 and Grey's.

Is Midnight Texas not going to be on this
Summer? What about their other Medcal
Drama that has done okay during the
Summer?

Midnight Texas is that rare case of a show being "promoted" from Summer to Fall. Unfortunately, that means it will have been about a year since the last episode aired when it finally returns in the Fall.

There will also be some cast changes. Sarah Ramos ("Creek Lovell") and Yul Vazquez ("Reverend Emilio Sheehan") are not coming back, although both could return for guest appearances.

As for the medical drama, are you talking about Code Black? Its third season just got started a few weeks ago.

No, this is the Summer Medical Drama on NBC. It
is the one where the Hospital is in Texas, but one
of the Characters for most of last season, was in
Syria. They had a special episode for Veterans.

Oh, sorry about that. I don't know why I got stuck on CBS.

You're probably thinking of The Night Shift. That one was cancelled. Last Summer's fourth season was its last.
