ABC will have 4 new shows in the fall:

mixed-ish - Arica Himmell stars in this spin-off of black-ish, set in the 1980s.

Emergence - Allison Tolman is a police officer who takes in a young child she finds near the site of a mysterious accident who has no memory of what happened.

Stumptown - Based on a graphic novel. Cobie Smulders is an Army vet working as a P.I. in Portland.

Kids Say the Darnedest Things - New version of the classic show. Hosted and exec produced by Tiffany Haddish.

These shows will debut midseason:

The Baker and the Beauty - Victor Rasuk stars as a man working at his Cuban family's Miami bakery who is thrust into the spotlight when he meets a superstar fashion model.

For Life - A fictionalized account of the life of Isaac Wright Jr, a prisoner who becomes a lawyer and works to save other inmates while trying to overturn his own life sentence for a crime he did not commit.

United We Fall - Comedy starring Will Sasso and Christina Vidal as a couple dealing with each other's families.

We also have enjoyed Whiskey Cavalier. Weak start for me, but like it a lot now. Sorry it is gone.

I gave up on Whiskey Cavalier after 2 episodes because of that weak start. I wanted to like it, but it just didn't grab me.

We stuck with it and are really enjoying the character interactions. It is not a particularly serious show, altho' it has its moments.

I will only watch two ABC shows next fall.  I mostly watch NBC, then CBS. I’ve been trying to cut back in new CBS shows, so that leaves only NBC and a few on Fox.
