ACHTUNG PEOPLE
--- A guy was sacked from his job in a Dewsbury Asda because he shared a Billy Connolly video about religion on his personal Facebook page.
An Asda worker has lost his job for sharing an ‘anti-Islamic’ Billy Connolly video. If you’re not a fan of religion - or political correctness -- then it looks like a job at Asda isn’t for you. Examiner Live reports that Brian Leach, a 54-year-old disabled till worker, has been sacked from his job in a Dewsbury Asda because he shared a Billy Connolly video about religion on his personal Facebook page. This is a case so mad and authoritarian it really makes you double take.

The 1989 film ''Visions of Ecstasy'' was the only film ever banned in the UK for blasphemy.
Following the abolition of the blasphemy laws in England and Wales in 2008, the film was eventually classified by the BBFC for release as 18-rated in 2012.
Visions of Ecstasy cleared for release after 23 years
Short film banned for 'blasphemous libel' since 1989 finally gets classification from BBFC
Visions of Ecstasy contains a scene, as the BBFC describes it, "in which a figure representing St Teresa of Avila interacts sexually with a figure representing the crucified Christ". This was enough for it to fall foul of the Video Recordings Act 1984 (designed to take "video nasties" out of the market place), and the film, directed by Nigel Wingrove, subsequently became a cause celebre for censorship campaigners, but ended in failure at the European Court of Human Rights in 1996.

ONLY ON FAÇEBOKK!!!
Have you heard about the Pakistani guy that was hanged after someone weaseled on him to the Pakistani authoroties??

Let's not fool ourselves. This was not because of general anti-religion posting but anti-Islam. I guarantee if he'd posted something that bashed any Christian denomination, he would have been cheered.

It might only be offensive and totally sackable when it's addressed to the religion of pieces!!
