So what have Americans, and those watching from Canada and around the world, learned through this whole ordeal? In summary: Trump is surely guilty. We don’t feel we can do anything about it. And anyway, it’s really the Democrats’ fault.

The Senate’s verdict:

Trump is guilty, but not guilty enough

WASHINGTON -- Have you ever heard of a trial without witnesses? You have now. What had become the key drama of the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump, whether to hear new testimony and evidence, was resolved Friday evening by a 51-49 vote against.

It’s all over now but the shouting -- although there will be lots of shouting. Senators were still working into the evening to wrangle the plans to close the trial, but the final vote to acquit the president and allow him to remain in office appeared likely to be put off, possibly until as late as Wednesday.

On to the next lesson from his conclusions:

“The Constitution does not give the Senate the power to remove the president from office and ban him from this year’s ballot simply for actions that are inappropriate.”

I wonder -- willl they stop accusing him of some other issue from now on??

... You can see the next installment taking shape through the last stages of the impeachment fog. Both Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader “Chuck” Schumer have declared that “acquittal is meaningless.” Somebody ought to inform them that the hole they want to keep digging is the Democratic Party’s grave. Can there be no Democrats who are nauseated by what has gone down in their name, who understand the damage that has been wreaked by their own leaders, who are sick of re-investing in falsehoods and perfidy?

Honestly; I perceive these cranky Dems are actually in trouble, so they will dig into his trash to seek if he had cabbage and rice for dinner instead of his regular burger!!   grinning

Of course, Killary might kill Bloomberg so she can sit on his throne!

Drudge Report founder Matt Drudge said in a rare tweet, which he will likely delete, that the former mayor would go as far as moving his official residence from New York to Colorado or Florida, where he owns homes, so that he and Clinton are not from the same state during the race.

This woman is so evil she thinks everything on her path should be eliminated if they don't agree with her set of rules on her agenda!
