Since most of the roads will close to auto traffic after this weekend, I made my final drive of the year through Yellowstone earlier today.  I’ve never been here this late in the year before, so I wanted to check out the scenery.

The wildlife were scarce... I was hoping to see more of them out & about, but only saw a few small groups.  I saw no bears, as they’ve all retreated to their higher altitude dens... and the buffalo & elk were mostly staying in the wooded areas.

Anyway, here are a few photos for those who wanna see them... and I made a short video where I normally hang out during the summer in the Lamar Valley area of the park.
