Yaki Udon
Introducing: Yaki Udon
A subtle, sweet, and savoury sauce with garlic, onion, and soy sauce, and mild heat from white pepper. A family-friendly Yaki Udon base that you can "dress up" as much or as little as you like.
Popular Japanese street food that's raw to ready in 20 minutes. Has less sugar and sodium than takeout. Easy prep, easy cleanup: you only need to chop the chicken and can cook everything in 1 pan.
RECIPE IDEAS
• Customize your way: swap udon noodles for yakisoba noodles; have fun choosing the veggies; spice it up with sriracha; and top with different fixings.
• Change up the protein: try with slices of beef or pork.
• Make a Hot Pot Udon Soup.
• Prepare as a cold pasta salad with Vermicelli Noodles
KITCHEN HACK
Don't have noodles? Use as a marinade to prepare your protein and veggies for a stir-fry and serve with rice.

How To Perfect Sushi At Home ??????
Sushi isn’t as daunting as you think!
Here is a couple measurements you need:
Rice:
1 cup short grain calrose rice
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1 Tbsp sugar
1-2 tsp salt
This can make 4-5 rolls
4-5 pieces nori
1/2 pound salmon or any seafood
1-2 avocados

Batavia Lettuce Tamagoyaki (Japanese Rolled Omelette).
*In Japanese, tamago means egg and yaki means grill, so tamagoyaki literally translates to ‘grilled egg’.
My recipe quite simple based on what I have in the pantry. Enjoy!
Ingredients:-
•2 Eggs.
•4 Batavia Lettuce.
•Dash of Salt.
•Dash of Pepper.
•Bit of Cooking Oil.
Method :-
•Break eggs and beat with dash of salt and pepper, side aside.
•Wash, dry and slice Batavia Lettuce, set aside.
•Heat up pan with bit of cooking oil.
•Mix the Batavia Lettuce into the beaten egg and mix well.
•Pour all the egg/vege mixture into the heated pan, quickly with spatula move the gg/vege mixture spreading evenly on the pan.
•Once you have noticed the egg/vege mixture turning bit of colour and not much of liquid, roll from end to the other end. Please ensure before 2nd rolling, the egg/mixture don't have much liquid, continue doing until finished.
•Pan fry more brownish for the outer layer (of course depends on individual preferences, some like brownish and some like original colour).
•Serve with your other favourite foods or drink.
•Happy Cooking ??

Sushi bake for dinner. Used salmon and imitation crab.
1yr old ate it but then also finished off the leftover green onions ??
So far the only thing we’ve found he doesn’t like is mushrooms
Edit for recipe:
1/2 lb salmon, seasoned to preference
1/2 Ib imitation crab, shredded & cut into smaller pieces
3 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup mayo
1 TBSP sriracha
3 cups cooked rice
2 TBSP sugar
1/4 cup rice vinegar
Furikake / shredded seaweed
1. Season salmon to preference. I seasoned mine with garlic powder, salt & black pepper. And then airfry at 400 for 10 mins.
2. Then shred salmon and add it into your shredded imitation crab.
3. Then add the rest of your ingredients: cream cheese, Mayo & sriracha. Combine well and set aside.
4. Combine 2-3 cups of cooked rice with sugar and rice vinegar. Mix well. Then pour rice into an oven safe dish and flatten it/ create a flat - equal surface.
5. Top the rice off with shredded seaweed or furikake. I used 2 seaweed sheets
6. Then top your rice + seaweed off with your salmon mixture and spread it evenly
7. Bake at 400 for 15 or until top is bubbly
8. I topped mine with avocado slices and green onions and served my sushi bake wrapped in seaweed.

So I tried your Okonomiyaki Japanese pancake. Followed it to the tee. It wouldn’t hold together. So I made 4 inch pancake. Then it kind of held together . The sauce was very delicious.
So I revised your recipe to this
My revised version
Pancake: makes (5 ) 1 cup pancakes at 1 cup their easier to manage.
6 cups of chopped Cole slaw save yourself time buy the already sliced Cole slaw mix from store.
6 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 Panko bread crumbs
1 tea salt
one bunch of chopped green onions (the whole onion with the greens)save 2 TBS for garnish
Mix well let sit 10 min
1 C plus 2 TBS cup vegetable stock
3 eggs beat well
Add mix to cabbage mix well
in a fry pan or non traditional wok add
1 tablespoon vegetable oil, for every 2 made for frying I made 4 inch or about 3/4 C pancakes ,this way is more manageable
Fry till golden brown 1 at a time 1 1/2 - 2 min pr side. While making your second ,third, fourth & 5 th pancake put the one you just fried in the oven at 200 degrees to stay warm. When second one is done put that one in oven too.
Garnish with a drizzle of Mayo and your special sauce and some more green onions
Place 5 eggs Sunny side up one for each pancake place on top
Sauce:
1 tablespoons soy sauce
1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbs brown sugar
2 Tbs Tomato paste
1 Tbs teaspoon rice vinegar
1 Tbs oyster sauce
Mix well
Extra topping
lightly squeezed on top of baked pancake mayonnaise, or to taste
Serve warm enjoy
