Thanks to their Unity Fiasco, I quit Ubuntu years ago. The PC got slower than a limping snail. It also ruined my Drive.

I haven't used Ubuntu in ages. Was probably around the start of the Unity thing for me too. I used Linux MintĀ for years then about two years ago switched to MX Linux. I can't see me switching from MX Linux anytime in the near future.

What are you using now? I forget.

Both Linux Mint (Tricia) and Windows 7 (different drives).

I don't use Ubuntu, but they did jettison Unity fairly recently switching to a pure GnomeĀ  3 environment. It makes more sense in terms of resource allocation to do that (in spite of my occasional distaste for Gnome 3).
