LED headlights have drastically dropped in price and it appears the quality has gone up. Anyone that has done this conversion, please give us the details of exactly what you used and what it took to get it to work right....
Thanks.....I need to update the wKB with this info

I replaced the halogen bulb with an LED bulb. Reduced the electrical load and gave me a whiter light. But without changing the lens, didn't do much else. Replaced it with a Truckmall 7" black round LED headlight for about $60 from amazon and was much better.

I replaced with an LED, but I am not happy with it in the original headlamp, so I have ordered a daymaker. The daymaker should be here this week and after I install, will let you know.

Curious about what you needed to do to make the change, was there a kit to do the install into the original headlight housing? Was it plug and play?
thanks, Larry

Both the LED bulb and Truckmall LED lens were plug and play. The LED Lens is similar to the daymaker.

Most of the guys have been using something similar to this......

It should just fit into the housing and plug in.

Thanks. Looks like a significant reduction in current draw with lots more visibility.
