Both the LED bulb and Truckmall LED lens were plug and play. The LED Lens is similar to the daymaker.

Most of the guys have been using something similar to this......

It should just fit into the housing and plug in.

Thanks. Looks like a significant reduction in current draw with lots more visibility.

Has anyone tried this one http://www.jpcycles.com/product/zz36773/kuryakyn-phase-7-led-headlight Very pricey at $270

Just an FYI
Those are not the same as the HD Daymaker lights that are made by JW Speaker. Have read that they do provide a good light pattern. Will be interesting to read your findings.

Pretty much unanimous that they are better now that there is a sealed beam replacement.
Do any of them requite headlight modification...or wiring modifications?

Mine was just plug and play. The headlight does stick out a bit more. My visor pretty much hides that tho.

Look for the ones made by J.W. Speaker (check their website, and then check for vendors - they don't retail), as they are the more robust ones. I've been told they are they source for the H-D lights and theirs are the exact light w/out the H-D logo and price.
If you don't want to swap the whole light assembly out, ADVRider has some direct replacements for the lamps that are getting rave reviews.
