Hi All,

There's one Crankcase vent on the bike. Would there be any benefits to add another one (for the other cylinder)?

If yes, can the cylinder head side cover (part name according to Partzilla) with the vent be put on the other one (I have a spare 1100 so no mods required if it fits)?

I know I could just give it a try but if it's not worth it, I won't bother.

Thanks,

Harold

As far as I know you would be the 1st. I don't see any benefit.

Ok.

I won't do anything for now.

I thought I read somewhere that TimB added a vent to  the other cylinder (need some mod) but I could be wrong.

That's why I was asking.

Maybe I'll give it a try someday if I'm bored and have nothing to do!

Thanks for the reply!

There's only one crankcase, it needs only one path to vent! Follows the valve timing chain from case to the top of the head, and all pressure is relieved.

Sounds good to me. No need to do something that won't bring any benefits!

I appreciate the feedback!
