So I have a 2002 V Star 1100 Classic, I've been having some issue's with it starting in the cold or when it's cold. Once warmed up Runs great. It will sound like it sneeze's every once and a while. Like I said it hate's the cold. If it is under 50 degrees forget it.  I've put B12 in it and nothing. I know its the carbs wondering if there is an easy way to clean them. Also my battery goes dead. I charge it everyday. I live in Ulster County New York if anyone can give a fellow biker some advice. The bike sat for 8 Months also. Trying to find out if worth keeping or should I trade for a 2008 Kaw 636. I feel as if the VSTAR is better.

Do a charging system check....all covered in the wkb.

Stock intake? What mods have been done?

Odds are that the carbs will need cleaning after sitting for so long. Like Mick said, check the charging system. Remember it won't start charging until about 2,500 rpm. Might be worth having the battery load tested as well.
