I had to remove My rear fender ( Will have to remove it for small body repairs when I get a chance, and I noticed that the stud that`s in the frame ( See picture, in the red square ) snapped before I bought it but it only holds on a thread and a half with a nut that connects the 2 parts of it.
Now is there a way to replace that stud or do I have to order the whole rear fender frame ?
Just drill it out and weld in a new one
If thats the stud that holds the rear seat on you could drill it out and just use a bolt. I ran that way for years.
It can be hard to reach it up under the fender if you have large hands though. Do the weld as Mick sugests if you can.
