Is it worth buying one of those cheaper aftermarket starter clutch kits
what should I just buy an ome starter clutch kit
I bought a complete Taiwanese kit off EBay with roller bearing intermediate gear ( I figured it was a step up from Chinese). Fortunately I had read that one buyer found the starter clutch engaged in the reverse direction and he had to remove it, flip the rollers over and re-install it. I compared new with old and found my new clutch engaged in counter-clockwise rotation instead of clockwise. I flipped the rollers before installing. No problems since but I only have a few dozen starts on it.
OEM is the only sure thing.
Hey Harry! Hope all is well with you!
