I went to sync my carbs and behind the air filter housing is a hose that looks to be a vent hose, looks like it should have a plug in it because of the bulged end. No plug was in it. I can't find any reference to this hose in the manual. What does this hose do? Thanks!

There are a couple hoses in that area. A carb vent, a vacuum hose and further forward there is a crankcase breather hose....

I think he's talking about the drain/vent on the filter housing itself rather than the area behind it.
