Is it possiblw for the fuel pump to go haywire and have exsesive pressure thereby constantly flooding the bike? Have a Vstar 1100 and have had the carbs rebuilt 3 times....the last time by Tim (Metric Magic) so I know they are not the problem. Bike floods, fouls out, and dies in about 2 miles. Pull and clean the plugs, fire it up, put your hand at the exhaust and it turns your hand black in about 30 seconds, Bought this bike about 2 years ago and have been fighting with this since. Any ideas?

We need more info. What is your setup?

I would check for vacuum leaks.

I suggested a compression test. Not so sure it's a gas problem.
