Hello fellow 1100 riders,
My name is Kajin and I've owned a 2001 Yamaha XVS for over a year now. It's only my the second bike I've owned my first being a Honda silver wing 500, in which I turned into a café racer not knowing anything about the history or tradition of motorcycles. Previous experience with motorcycles, when I was 5 my father let me loose on the track, it ended badly. Now I'm 42 and after doing my research on café racers my Honda turned out pretty sweet, so sweet someone in my neighborhood liked it more than me and stole it. I put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into that thing, yes money too. Which brings me to here, I have recently taken my 1100 motor off the frame and took it all apart for, well for my own knowledge on how it works and it sounded like there were rocks inside last time I rode it. Turns out the main bearing that sits in the middle of the engine was starting to give out. Got it replaced and now putting everything back together can someone give me the correct torque for all nuts and bolts, inside and outside of the engine, please. Thanks for letting me join the forum.
